Abandon Kansas has stayed quiet for months about what is happening with them as they did cover shows under the name “A Band In Kansas”. Well, they have finally broken their silence and announced a name change to The Glass Age. With the announcement of their new name on their Facebook, they also announced a new direction for the band in terms of sound and a release date for a new EP under the name The Glass Age.

Already The Glass Age has released a teaser for their upcoming EP Bloom to be released on Nov 22. They’ve announced a new YouTube channel with the promise of clips of them in the studio making this EP along with other things that have got me incredibly excited. They have a sound I’ve been looking for its an indie grunge but more polished. A lot of bands try to make a sound like this in the Christian industry but fall short, Glass Age has not fallen short. I’m looking forward to their EP coming out on Nov 22.
